On the 7-segment display, 5C and SC look the same; 5E/SE likewise.

| 1E (also IE) | Clogged filter, water not passing through |
| 3E | Water overheated past 176°F |
| 4C (also 4E) | Water supply problem, check pressure and connection |
| 5C (also SC, 5E, SE, SR) | Samsung dishwasher 5C / SC / 5E / SE / SR: drain error |
| 9E | Low water level detected |
| bE (also 6E) | A control panel button is stuck or stuck-pressed |
| CE | Control panel failure |
| LC (also LE) | Leakage detected |
